to establish free and fair elections in the west bank

We call on the Obama administration to place diplomatic pressure on President of the Palestinian authority, Mahmoud Abbas to step down and for the Palestinian Authority to hold free and fair UN monitored elections involving all parties. Mahmoud Abbas is a dictator who has embezzled funds from the Palestinian people for his lavish and opulent lifestyle. Abbas is not a legitimate leader since his term expired six years ago and has maintained very low approval ratings. As such, we call on the US to put forth General Assembly and Security Council resolutions calling for a free and fair UN monitored election in the Palestinian authority involving all parties and for Abbas to step down and the newly elected government to take power the day after Election Day.
