Rather than marching towards war with Iran, we call on the Obama Administration to recognize and act upon an overlooked alternative: A cooperative scientific and engineering "Fusion for Peace" initiative that would combine US and Iranian expertise in aneutronic fusion research to more quickly bring this ideal, non-weaponizable energy source to fruition. If successful, "Fusion for Peace" will make uranium enrichment obsolete, block proliferation everywhere, liberate the world from oil, and open up a new source of cheap, clean unlimited energy.
