There are too many cases where murder, rape, molestation, or sexual harassment are not treated the way they should be by the justice system. A person can get pulled over and sentenced to prison for having drugs on them and get the same punishment as someone who was convicted of child molestation. When someone is risking the chance of getting caught with drugs they are putting themselves at risk, but when someone rapes another individual they are not only effecting themselves but far more importantly the victim. In some cases, a killer can be free in less than 10 years and a rapist can be free in a matter of months if they plead insanity, so is there really any justice for the victims?
