I believe our govt failed the Americans in Benghazi by failing to protect them. They feared for their safety and asked for help for months prior to the attack and certainly on the day of. They were watched in real time and for hours no troops were sent in to rescue them. They were left to die and I propose it is a cover up because of the upcoming election. Our govt denied it for weeks and has sent mixed messages about what they knew and when. President Obama has said he wants to get to the bottom of it, but it's been over 2 months and we know nothing more.
I believe that General Patraeus needs to be included in the investigation regardless of whether he is currently CIA director or not. He was an integral part of the intelligence we were told was "wrong" and we need to know.
