Whereas, on October 3, 2015, a US airstrike killed 19 (12 staff and 7 patients, including 3 children and wounded at least 37 at a Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) hospital in Kunduz, Afghanistan; and whereas
MSF repeatedly provided the GPS coordinates of the compound and its buildings as recently as September 29; and, whereas
This hospital is an independent, neutral and impartial trauma center whose work cannot be duplicated in this locale; therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the U.S. Government appoint an independent entity to provide a transparent investigation of this attack; and be it further
RESOLVED, that the detailed results of this investigation be made available to MSF and to the public as soon as possible.
