With so many towns, cities, and even states legalizing marijuana or at the very least decriminalizing possession of small amounts, an increase in impaired drivers is going to happen. This petition is in the hope that the government will create an agreed upon level of marijuana in the body that makes it illegal for a person to be behind the wheel or to operate heavy machinery. The time for action is now, we have a test for alcohol now we need one for marijuana as legalization spreads throughout the country.
