establish a job simulation presidential candidates participate in to provide more relevant information than debates.

Candidates for almost any other job undergo a series of assessments to determine the best fit. Candidates for president undergo a series of heavily practiced debates, but little else in the way of actual assessment. Creating a "day in the life" simulation of realistic scenarios faced by a president and videotaping candidate responses would serve multiple purposes by providing:
1) voters and campaign donors with more relevant, job-related information about candidate future performance on the job;
2) media with talking points to debate candidate performance
3) candidates with job-related information to use in ad campaigns
4) a source of campaign income if responses are broadcast over TV/web (ad sales)
For these reasons and others, a job simulation is preferable to a rehearsed debate.
