Establish law enforcement reform programs across the country to prevent violence and bigotry.

Created by J.M. on January 19, 2014

Across the country, members of the police force have committed heinous acts against citizens. The website Stop Police Brutality documents repeated instances in which people have been shot, tazed, beaten, raped, or even killed for no reason by police officers.

Americans should not have to watch their local police officers to make sure they are not crossing dangerous lines. Nor should Americans have to pay when police pay these officers while they are suspended or if they are forgiven of their crimes, or when police settle with victims. We ask for the establishment of reformatory programs to retrain police to have more respect for all citizens, a move for stricter punishments for violent officers, and the addition of cameras to all police uniforms to document their behavior on the job.
