Establish a law that requires concealed carry permit holders to contribute to the community through protection services.

Establish a system which would require concealed carry permit holders to train 16 hours a year with law enforcement. Then require those that pass the course to participate in public protection at schools and other high value locations for a period of time. This would be a solution that would assure those that carry have the skills necessary to react appropriately. Locations which currently have little to no protection from those that are intent on causing harm a chance to limit human casualties. There would need to be a regular evaluation period to make sure those that are carrying are maintaining skills. A 5 year fee of $500 for the permit and annual $50 fee for the training courses would help offset any costs. Require those that want higher capacity clips to participate in the program.
