Too often are the hard-earned tax dollars of hard working American citizens funneled into the hands of those who do not aspire to contribute to the American workforce. These people apply for welfare and unemployment in order to further enable their drug addiction which is effectively impairing them from becoming a contributing member of society.
It is perfectly okay for private sector and government employers to demand a drug test prior to employment. Why is it that we do not similarly subject those who wish to flourish off of the toil of the working?
