Student loans are a must for many college bound individuals and the process to obtain federal funds is one simple FASA form and signature. Many students are unaware of the amounts of their loans, the terms, and payment requirements. Student loans impact the lendee for years after graduation.
This lack of awareness of loan terms is a failure of the goverment and universities financial aid departments. Students sign on the dotted line of a federal loan with no conept of how it will affect their future financial welfare.
A course that explains all aspects of the loan terms and repayment options will allow students to make wiser decisions about how they pay for college and control their personal financial health.
