On July 4, 1776, our "Founding Fathers" wrote the Declaration of Independence with this rather profound line:
"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."
The idea that all "men are created equal" is something that hasn't been followed 100% throughout US history.
Let us not be a nation of hypocrites and let us set an example to the world that we are a nation of equally created human beings, regardless of sexual orientation.
