Another war would only further damage our reputation and effectiveness. Instead build on our best non-military history and begin another Marshall Plan, for the MidEast.
Syrian refugees are already a problem that can only deteriorate. If left to standard solutions in the MidEast, they can only become another stateless, disenfranchised, unemployed, increasingly angry populace, descending into ignorance and ripe for political manipulation.
Let the US initiate and implement a new Pan-Arab MidEast Marshall Plan. Create an integrated Free Trade and Manufacturing zone Supply ideas, education, job and economic development assistance, people, funding from all countries, only 10% from US.
