Every year, young people graduate from colleges and universities with crippling debts that don't get paid off for years or decades. Even more never get the opportunity to go to college simply because they cannot afford the opportunity and scholarships do not provide an adequate fund.
With the price of degrees constantly rising and low wages, it has become nearly impossible to pay ones own way through college. We ask the Obama Administration to enact a minimum student wage for those students working to pay for their college education, and encourage hiring students. Not only would this provide more students with the opportunity to further their education, but it would decrease the amount of bank loans and feed more money into the economy.
