Establish More Psychiatric Facilities Across The United States Of America, And Make The Necessary Care Free Of Charge.

Created by R.B. on November 10, 2012

Across the United States, many people suffer from mental illnesses. According to the National Institute Of Mental Health, an estimated 20.9 Million Americans suffer from mood disorders, An estimated 14.8 million Americans suffer from major depressive disorders, and so forth. (please look here for full statistics: http://www.nimh.nih.gov/health/publications/the-numbers-count-mental-dis...)

Time after time, many of these Americans who need care cannot receive it and thus remain untreated because there isn't a psychiatric facility near them or the cost of appointments, sessions, and medicines are way too high.

We can walk and talk about suicide prevention and mental health all we'd like, but it is time we addressed the root of the problem. The lack of care.
