Establish a National Conceal and Carry Program For Qualified, Trained Individuals

To thwart local and national threats (whereas police can not reasonably escort every citizen) it is imperative that any Citizen, in accordance with the 2nd Amendment, KEEP and BEAR arms (own and have present) for self-defense. I petition any qualified and trained Citizen over 25 years old, who is as well-trained and can pass the same competency and background checks as law enforcement officers (who both open and/or conceal carry, on and off duty) shall be permitted to carry loaded (yet unchambered or holstered, open and/or concealed) weapons for their own and public protection, in any and all public places within any jurisdiction of the United States.
