Establish a National First Responders Appreciation & Education Day.

We have Memorial day to honor and remember those who we have lost. We have Veterens day to honor those who serve in our armed services and those who have lost their lives serving this country. As a country we used to have the mentality that the police fire fighters and EMS are our friends and are here to help, but we have drifted so far from that, we have become a nation that distrusts our first responders until we need them. I would like to see the creation of a holiday to appreciate our first responders for they sacrifice their lives everyday to keep us safe at home while the military keeps us safe overseas.
