Establish a national holiday for the purpose of conducting local, state and federal elections.

Created by R.B. on March 28, 2013

Simply put, what is more patriotic than to celebrate governance by the people and to respect it by setting aside a day wherein the country can easily exercise their civic privilege?

This day, to be determined, would be used to conduct local, state and federal elections should any be required in that calendar year. In jurisdictions where elections are not scheduled, the day remains a celebration of civic pride and the inspiration of self determination.

Not a Federal Holiday, this would be a National Holiday and observed as a day away from school and work for most americans.
