Establish a National Infrastructure Bank, to fund crucial American resource development without political interference.

Created by B.D. on July 31, 2012

As rated by the World Economic Forum, the United States ranks 23rd (and sinking) in infrastructure, whereas we were in sixth place just ten years ago. An estimated 700 water mains break every single day in this country. Bridges are crumbling, electrical grids are struggling, and thousands wait to go back to work making this country strong and safe again.

Interest rates will never be this low again. Building material is available at deep discounts due to stagnation. It costs far more to fix something AFTER it breaks.

A nonpartisan National Infrastructure Bank would meritocratically sidestep controversial earmark spending, utilizing public bonds and private investment alike. Privatization is not often palatable, but it only makes sense to work together to create jobs & rebuild America!
