Establish a national Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Day in the United States!

Created by D.C. on May 13, 2014

As a company that is focused on the guidance of STEM teen role models, the AAT Project is concerned that the United States is not giving adequate attention or promotion to the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. Thus far, the STEM movement has largely been a grassroots initiative, supported by private companies, NGO's and the occasional state or local government.
We live in a country with a national School Lunch week and Leif Erikson day yet no STEM recognition since 2005. Sparked by the recent slide in US test scores and the disappointing performance of US students on the world stage, We The People desire a federal proclamation declaring one day out of the year "National STEM Day" as a reaffirmation that the federal government is focused on the growth of the hard sciences
