Establish a non-means tested Unconditional Basic Income for all Americans set at the poverty line.

In light of technology's exponential advancement, technological unemployment is now leading to structural unemployment, and the Obama Administration should stop discussions of minimum wage increase, focusing instead on a non-means tested Universal Basic income whereby all citizens receive an automatic annual poverty level income from the federal government. This will eliminate poverty, stimulate the economy, promote innovation, and acknowledge that food, shelter, and clothing are non-negotiable human rights. Only when Americans are guaranteed access to these necessities will they be truly free from manipulation at the hands of their employers. Jobs are not coming back. This is inevitable.
