Establish a Price Ceiling on College Tuition

In this economy, the amount students have to pay in tuition is becoming dangerously unrealistic. This is especially worrisome considering a good degree is now almost required in getting a decent job. High tuition discourages people from getting degrees and puts a heavy economy burden on recent graduates and current students. In addition most other industrialized nations keep their tuition prices low, without sacrificing the quality of their education, making them economically feasible for their citizens while remaining globally competitive.
Keeping a ceiling on tuition prices, at least around the price of state schools, would both encourage our citizens to seek higher education, make them more competitive in their careers, and free up personal revenue for important investments.
