Establish protection of rights for all government contractors like those of government employees.

Created by D.O. on January 28, 2015

Defense contractors supporting government clients need protection w/regard to their civil liberties, labor rights, and equal employment opportunity(s). The Statement of Work that establishes the gov't-contractor relationship, should include proper protection when hiring/firing contractors. Too often, contractors are removed without proper investigation, resulting in a one-sided, often subjective assessment of the issue(s); this frequently leads to wrongful/unwarranted termination without recourse, a vast waste of tax dollars and Veteran skills. Regardless of state regulations, gov't employees are given too much discretionary authority when it comes to contractor employees. There's a serious need for due process and ethical standards to protect high-priority missions/critical programs.
