Establish safety standards for candy to be regulated by the F.D.A. to outlaw candy shapes that are choking hazards.

Created by H.B. on October 03, 2011

The Obama Administration should protect children from choking by regulating candy shapes for safety. Candy is specifically marketed for children, and therefore, disc and ball shaped candies should be outlawed, including round Lolipops that can easily break off from their sticks.

Tragically, well-intended adults are causing children's choking deaths by providing them with unsafe candy.

Outlawed candy can be easily redesigned in safer shapes.
