Establish an security force of a minimum of one armed guard in all schools

Created by J.F. on December 30, 2012

In order to prevent another tragedy like the one in Newtown, a minimum of one armed guard must be placed to protect and patrol every public school in America in order to create a safe and tranquil environment for the educational and learning process to occur. More may be enlisted at each school if felt necessary (based on the circumstances, i.e. violent neighborhood). Not only will this help schools fight back if anything like the Sandy Hook shooting occurs again, but it will also deter future attacks. Not to mention this will create jobs. A model similar to Los Angeles, with their creation of the Los Angeles School Police Department (LASPD) should be created in every public school around the country.
