Please sign the petition to create a Smithsonian Museum on the West Coast of the United States.
The Smithsonian was established for the increase and diffusion of knowledge for the people of the United States. Unfortunately, only a tiny fraction of the 137 million treasures is available for viewing and only to those who are able to make the trek to Washington DC.
However, if the Smithsonian created a West Coast museum and had rail/show cars for transport and display, you could significantly increase the exposure of this national gift.
