In recent events such as the gruesome accident where a worker was crushed by an elevator is one of many similar accidents. This is very worrying as elevators are supposed to be a safe mode of going from one place to another. Most of these accidents are caused by the elevator malfunctioning or human error. I am not a frequent elevator user, but I still worry about what can happen in the near future.
Hopefully there will be a solution to combat this problem for the safety of people who do use elevators frequently.
