The people of Puerto Rico is being strangled by high electricity cost. The government of Puerto Rico and the utility have not been in compliance of Law 83 of 2010 that authorizes that 125 of power generation in Puerto Rico should be generated by renewable energy. The cost of doing business and the cost of life due to high energy cost have been increasing during the last years and this is also preventing the economic growth and recovery of Puerto Rico's finance.
