By creating and establishing term limits for both Congress and Senate to either 8 years but no more than 12 consecutive years we will be able to prevent the possibility that our elected officials from becoming so intrenched in the position that they no longer serve the people. At present both the Senate and Congress are made up of members that have made a career of representing the lobbyist and creating bottleneck for anything other than what they themselves want with little to no regard to what is best for the people who they are suppose to serve.
