Members of the House of Representatives should only be allowed to serve as much time as the president can. This would limit them to 4 2 year terms. Members of the Senate currently serve 6 year terms. This should be changed to serving a maximum of 2 four year terms.
The president has a term limit of serving 2 terms while the members of congress can continue to be elected indefinitely. People were never meant to make a career out of being a politician yet so many members of congress have done just that. In the beginning it was meant to be a thing you did for a couple years on the side of your REAL job.
Career politicians are becoming more and more corrupt as time goes on because all they care about is winning votes so they keep their paycheck and benefits. We need to stop this now
