Establish term limits on both houses of Congress.

Created by M.M. on January 07, 2013

Members of the House of Representatives are elected to serve two year terms without maximum term limit restrictions.
Members of the Senate are elected to serve six year terms without any maximum term limit restrictions.

Most of the elected representatives have a greater than 90% historical chance of reelection for various reasons and become career politicians. This career condition should be avoided to prevent - governing decisions influenced by political action committees or donors. Conflicts of interest whereby votes occur along party lines instead of the best interest of "our" country and their own constituents.

Max congressional term limits proposed
House of Representatives-4 two year terms- 8 years max.
Senate - 2 six year terms - 12 years max.
