One enormous problem we have with our democracy is the career politician. These people get elected to office and most of their time is spent fund raising and catering to special interest groups. We need a way to stop this practice and limit the number of terms an individual can serve. What I propose is limit all of our Congressional Representatives to serving a maximum of two terms in office with no benefits after their term expires. I believe this would reduce gridlock in our current political system and help our democracy function better.
