We find ourselves today in a very unfortunate situation. Our House and Senate representatives are in the position of establishing their salaries; their benefit packages; and their destinies. While the average American suffers, these people are immune to the economic crisis by their own design.
During the past four years we have seen Congressional leaders dedicated to the demise of the opposition party. This has occurred with both the Republicans and Democrats. Rather than working for the betterment of the American People, they have played politics with our ability to survive economically.
