It's time to clean up DC! In Social Media across the country people are agreeing to one thing..Term limits to Congress! In May 1995, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled 5–4 in U.S. Term Limits, Inc. v. Thornton, 514 U.S. 779 (1995), that states cannot impose term limits upon their federal Representatives or Senators.
We Want that Repealed and an 8 year Federal term limit put in place! It's time we stood up and cleaned both house of representatives and the senate!
We want the Salaries and benefits of the Representatives and the Senate adjusted so that they do not bankrupt the American People.
We want the House of Representatives and the Senate to not have any control over raising their salaries, to further prevent bankrupting the American People!
