Establish term limits for members of Congress.

Created by C.M. on January 15, 2013

From spending more time on the campaign trail than listening to their constituents, to voting for legislation that benefits big moneyed special interests to the detriment of the American people, our senators and representatives, now more than ever, are more concerned with being reelected than serving those they are elected to represent. Enacting term limits would break ties with lobbies and interest groups, eliminate seniority and bureaucracy, act as campaign finance reform, improve the quality of legislation, and ultimately make members of Congress more accountable to the voters themselves.
