Establish Term Limits for Members of Congress.

Created by S.H. on October 27, 2013

It is proposed that members of Congress be limited to a total of 6 years of service to their constituents. This 6 years may be combined between serving in the House of Representatives and the Senate as 3, 2 year terms but not totaling more than 6 years. This would allow for their legislation to be brought to the table, voted on, enacted, then they move on. If those members of Congress should choose to run for President, then they may because term limits are established for the Office of the President of the United States. This will keep from having "career politicians" because the original intent of the democracy was to have representatives voted by the people, for the people, to represent the people instead of their respective political party.
