establish term limits for the Senate and House of Representatives. Limit the president to 1 term in office.

Created by D.C. on January 08, 2013

The founding fathers originally intended that senators, representatives, and the president would only serve short terms in office and then return home. However, this is not the case any more as some senators and congressman have been in office for several decades. Amend the 22nd amendment to limit the president to one 4 year term, senators to one 6 year term, and Representatives of the House to one 2 year term. This would also include current representatives and senators at the end of their current terms.
