establish term limits such that no incumbent for an office can be re-elected. Decisions should not be based on votes.

Created by T.D. on December 11, 2012

Our elected representatives appear to vote based on their next election campaign rather than on what is best for our country and its citizens. A long-term view is seldom taken due to this short term focus. A simple solution would be to send a message to our elected officials that no incumbents will be re-elected allowing them to focus on the best decisions for U.S. citizens rather than on their personal interest in staying in office. Under this solution, each elected official could return to their previous career after serving their 2, 4, or 6 year term or could run for a different office.
