Establish a two-term limit for all nationally elected offices and to amend the Constitution to this end.

Created by C.P. on March 06, 2013

George Washington, from the founding of this country, saw that any man in any office for too long could take advantage of the system and damage our government, either intentionally as with graft, or unintetionally by spending the peoples time worrying too much about holding on to one's power. President Washington turned down the opportunity to not only be King, but also the simple vanity of a third term. This should be the national standard, now and always. Let us establish this truth through Constitutional amendment. Let the "government of the people, by the people, for the people..." return to the people. Thank you.
