Federal involvement is demanded to provide oversight and assistence in investigating and solving the methane gas leak at the Aliso Canyon gas storage field in California.
The concern is that something similar to the Unified Command, that provided Incident Command System/Unified Command (ICS) for coordinating response to the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, needs to be applied to this disaster, to ensure optimal and expediant positive outcomes.
In addition to addressing the resolution of this Company/Man-made disaster, similar to concerns raised in the Flint, Michigan water quality disaster, this petition requests the U.S. Attorney General's office to investigate any delays caused by State or private entity under the premis that the disaster may have National or Global implications.
