Establish uniform federal election laws

Created by J.C. on December 31, 2012

The 2012 presidential election provided ample evidence that politically and racially motivated voter disenfranchisement is still prevalent in this country. We request that the federal government establish a uniform set of voting regulations applicable to all federal elections. The regulations shall include:

- Uniform poll hours across all states
- Uniform mail-in and early voting dates and hours
- Prohibition of poll observers from the polling places
- Voter ID, per applicable state law, to be verified by paid poll workers only

Additionally, the government shall establish a commission with recommendations for uniform ballot design.
