Establish uniform, non-partisan election rules and procedures, voter registration, and guidelines for gerrymandering.

Created by A.C. on December 04, 2012

While the nature of elections is partisan, the logistics, execution and conduct of the voting process should NOT be. An election in FL should run just as smoothly those in MA or TX. Polls in OH (including early voting and absentee) should be open just as long as those in CA.

We petition for an expansion of power granted to the Federal Elections Commission to establish uniform rules for conducting an election, and grant the agency enforcement responsibility. This includes, but is not limited to: Registration, ballot design, voting equipment, and other logistics.

Furthermore, the FEC should be charged with drawing all Congressional districts in a fair & nonpartisan manner.

This is to ensure that extreme partisan interests do not prevail over consistent execution of the voting process.
