establish the voter registration criteria for US citizens voting in federal elections.

Created by D.M. on October 08, 2011

Establish common voter registration criteria that are applied consistently to all voters in US federal elections.

Many states are establishing their own criteria for voter registration. It is inconsistent and too difficult. The registration requirements disenfranchise young voters (students), minorities, elderly, women (birth certificate has maiden name, marriage certificate required to validate married name).

All people who voted in the last 2 presidential elections should be deemed to be registered voters for 2012. Those who claim voter fraud should prove it and remove those entries from voter roles.

Registration req'mnts would apply to elections for presidential/vp, senators, members of Congress.

Absentee ballot, early voting times, and residency req'mnts must be defined.
