Establish a Wounded Knee Memorial Historical site. This site will include all land attribute to the massacre.

In 1890 approximately 150 Lakota, at least a third of whom were unarmed women and children, were massacred at a site in southwestern South Dakota known as Wounded Knee. This massacre resulted in twenty Medals of Honor given to those American soldiers who participated directly. Standards for this medal must have been lower back then. All lands directly tied to this massacre should be taken over by the government with the exception of any current homes on the property and be justly compensated for. The federal government should, in turn, and immediately designated these lands a National Historic Site and prevent any future private land acquistions of this property.
