Established Veterans Affairs Patient Advocacy Program (VAPAP) by Executive Action

Created by D.H. on June 27, 2014

Established by Executive Action a Veterans Affairs Patient Advocacy Program (VAPAP) to provide patients with arbitration, mediation and negotiation to settle issues with access to care, medical debt, and job retention related to their illness; whose service officers are voted in by Veterans. Whose input must be included in any Accreditation process and whose outcomes must be accounted for before any personal bonuses are awarded to organizational individuals. A key principle of which puts into place an individual accountability and tracking process managed by the individual VA that is not modifiable by internal systems.
