Petition for state and federal government to enact a bill that will aid in the establishment of mandatory minimum nurse to patient ratios in the hospital care setting. Having a mandate in place will help decrease nurse burnout, increase nurse retention, increase patient safety, improve patient outcomes and ensure that experienced nurses remain at the bedside.
