In the spirit of Michael Jackson's "We Are the World" and Black History month, music loving Americans concerned with social justice and philanthropy would like the Weeknd and Kendrick Lamar to make a song that raises awareness of the problem of illiteracy in many African countries. Due to Lamar's socially conscious lyricism ,the Weeknd's Ethiopian musical influences, and the ability of both artists to reach a large number of people the duo could create a song that goes down in the annals of history. The proceeds of the song ,which could be sold in the itunes store, could go to help increase African literacy rates.
