Yemen is currently in a state of crisis, and many American citizens find themselves trapped within its borders. Current reports (as of April 10, 2015) by the AFP estimate above 200 citizens. The first American death in this conflict - a Yemeni American man from California - occurred less than a week ago. It is time to extract these mothers, fathers, sons and daughters before anyone else is lost.
According to the AFP, China has evacuated 225 non - Chinese and India have removed 351 of its citizens. America, however, has only advised that its people hide until they can find assistance from another nation.
Our people deserve more from their country.
They deserve action instead of words.
It is time to extract these American citizens from the danger they are languishing in.
