Tens of thousands of Iraqis served alongside our troops. Terrorists who have tortured and assassinated hundreds of our employees recently announced plans to redouble their efforts as America leaves Iraq.
We must not leave them behind.
Many Iraqis who worked for US military or contractors have applied to resettle in the US, but the slow pace of this process forces applicants to wait many months. But the terrorists aren't waiting.
The President should order that all applicants and their families be evacuated to a US military base for protection while their cases are evaluated, instead of being left to be murdered while they wait.
