evaluate and address its diplomatic interest with India as it has consistently failed to protect women & gender equality

Created by J.S. on December 31, 2012

In light of recent events happening in India, it is not only evident but it has come to forefront the lack of authority and interest government of India has shown in protecting women and other minorities from several decades.
Equality should not have a gender. Every woman in India should have same rights and power as men in the country and should be able to fight for equal freedom and respect. There needs to be a constitutional right that support women equality and anyone who violates that right should be persecuted accordingly.
As the United States is land of freedom and support equal rights for women, there needs to be evaluation of diplomatic interest with Indian allies, to pressure government to be proactive (and less reactive) and set a precedent for future generation of women.
